Join us to create the stunning Norfolk Quilt, one of Sandy’s earlier designs which has now been reborn as a BOM (starting mid-February 2023) in the most beautiful William Morris fabrics….and we have even added an extra border so it is really much bigger now as well!
This gorgeous quilt is being offered in two colourways. All the print fabrics for the melons and pentagon border are the same in each colourway. Pictured in the full quilt is the black/sage/teal colourway. This has a warmer, muddier selection of background prints, the teal sashing print, and teamed with the black Strawberry Thief William Morris as border. The alternate colourway is the blue/grey/raspberry colourway. This has a selection of clearer background prints, the raspberry sashing, and teamed with the blue Strawberry Thief William Morris as border. Please have a look in the photo gallery under the main quilt photo to see the options. They are both equally as beautiful.
During this BOM program, you will enjoy creating the melon centre using Sandy’s super easy and quick starch method, English paper piecing with some guided beautiful fussy cutting, machine piecing border and construction, over a 9 month period, and all delivered as one of our well-planned and comprehensively described programs that we are known to deliver here at Shiralee Stitches.
There are 9 monthly mailings in this BOM program……and over the course of time will include:-
- all the fabrics required to create the quilt top, and binding
- comprehensive technique notes/fussy cutting guidelines
- close-up photos of the fussy cuting for the EPP, created in exactly the same fabrics as are included in your kit
- all papers and perspex cutting templates required
- pentagon fussy cutting viewer
- any tips/tricks/info we think you may benefit from along the way
Cost for this BOM is $75/month + p&h for 9 months, plus $75 one-off sign-up payment to cover the melon template set and background fabrics (delivered with month 0ne).
A note on postage. All parcels are sent in tracked satchels via Australia Post. This is estimated to be $11 small tracked satchel each month for Australian customers (International customers welcome, please ask Sandy for a postage quote. If you order online, which you may wish to do to secure your place, Sandy will adjust the flat-rate postage overpayment for international orders once Month One is mailing)
Please note that by paying your sign-up fee, you are committing to purchase the future 9 months to complete the BOM program. Cancellations will only be considered under special circumstances and the sign-up payment in credit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
