Mrs Booth’s English Garden Pattern Kit incl all papers & templates

$125.00

This beautiful medallion style quilt, designed by Sandy, has been inspired by 19th century English quilts.

This pretty design began to hatch in Sandy’s mind following the news that Andover were going to re-print the very first fabric range designed by Di Ford in 2015, the lovely Cloverdale House fabrics, as a tribute to the late Australian ‘Queen’ of quilting Di Ford-Hall.

Named after Sandy’s Grannie, Mrs Booth, who lived in England, the quilt comprises baskets and vases full of broderie persed English flowers, as well as a selection of Ruby Crown blocks (a variation of Sandy’s Ruby blocks), because any English inspired quilt must give a nod to royalty, right? Being created in fabrics designed by Di, we simply HAD to include some of Di’s favourite elements too, so you’ll see English paper pieced fussy cut flowers of course! …and then there’s the border print…the stunning column print from the Cloverdale House range, and we have chosen the lovely red colourway for this quilt.

Enjoy broderie perse, applique, English paper piecing, and machine construction, in this project.

Pattern Kit includes the detailed pattern as well as all the required papers and templates.

Finished quilt measures 92.5” square (2.35 m sq)
