Do you love reproduction fabrics, applique, broderie perse, pretty clamshells, and epp hexies? Yes? I’d love you to join me in creating Cameo, packaged into a manageable and comprehensive BOM program!

My design for this lovely antique-inspired medallion-style quilt began with the image of (and my love for) a vintage cameo brooch. So, the centre features a lovely oval vase from a fabric designed by the wonderfully talented Di Ford Hall. This is surrounded by broderie perse flowers and a lacy outer detail just like a cameo brooch :). A few borders follow and then there’s a nice deep border of blendy coloured clamshells. These are created by the applique method, with the shape being formed over pre-cut papers. A stunning lacy applique border frames all this, dotted with sweet hexagon flowerettes. The final teal border is a rococo print, also by Di, providing an opulent finish, and highlighting all the pops of colour in the quilt.

This is a large quilt measuring 99 inches square (251cm square)

The limited run BOM program will run over 8 months, with an initial sign-up fee (9 payments), all delivered as one of our well-planned and comprehensively described programs that we are known to deliver here at Shiralee Stitches.

During the course of the program, you will receive:

• all the fabrics required to create the quilt top, and binding
• comprehensive instructions/technique notes/fussy cutting guidelines
• all papers and perspex cutting templates required
• pre-printed applique paper where needed
• any tips/tricks/info we think you may benefit from along the way, as well as lots of photos within your notes.

Cost for this BOM is $84/month + p&h for 8 mailings, plus $84 sign-up payment to secure your place.

Please note that by paying your sign-up fee, you are committing to purchase the future 8 months to complete the BOM program. Cancellations will only be considered under special circumstances and the sign-up payment in credit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
