This lovely quilt is created from 25 Ruby blocks in the centre with a gorgeous scalloped border and corner block detail.

Ruby is one of Sandy’s favourite EPP designs. This beautiful block is her interpretation and combination of two varied ‘Strawberry’ blocks published in 1929/1930 as being designed by Ruby McKim at that time, and archived by Jinny Beyer in her book ‘The Quilters Album of Patchwork Patterns’.

This quilt combines the English Paper Piecing patchwork method, and applique. Follow Sandy’s instructions to guide you through all steps, including piecing curved epp seams, and enjoy lots of fussy cutting along the way.

This is the perfect quilt design to delve into your stash and scrap buckets. Each block comprises 4 fabrics, and each background utilises a 14″ square of background fabric (Sandy has used all different ones in the original quilt).

Finished Quilt size is 186 cm square  (73” square)
