This stunning quilt is a reproduction of a quilt dated back to 1820, from the private collection of Christopher Wilson Tate. The beautiful fabrics were carefully reproduced by Dutch Heritage for Antique Textiles Company.
Included with this bundle is the most beautiful new book written by Petra Prins from Dutch Heritage fabrics, “Dutch Heritage – Quilted Treasures”, where you will find the pattern for not only this quilt but many other gorgeous quilts (see gallery photos).
Quilt kit includes all the reproduction fabrics for the quilt top as pictured on the right in the photo, and extra border fabric to use as the binding, as well as the book of course.
This quilt was a joy to make, simple and letting the fabrics do the talking…..the fabrics made me smile as I reflected on someone creating this same quilt back in 1820 (but without my trusty sewing machine!)
Quilt measures 69.25″ square (173.5cm)
