This stunning quilt is a reproduction of a quilt dated back to 1820, from the private collection of Christopher Wilson Tate. The beautiful fabrics were carefully reproduced by Dutch Heritage for Antique Textiles Company.
The pattern (not included) can be found in the beautiful new book written by Petra Prins, “Dutch Heritage – Quilted Treasures”. You will require this pattern to complete the quilt. You can have a look at all the other gorgeous quilt patterns in the book and order it here
Quilt kit includes all the reproduction fabrics for the quilt top as pictured on the right in the photo, and extra border fabric to use as the binding.
This quilt was a joy to make, simple and letting the fabrics do the talking…..the fabrics made me smile as I reflected on someone creating this same quilt back in 1820 (but without my trusty sewing machine!)
Quilt measures 69.25″ square (173.5cm)
